It's all about the Story...And the Design

After more than 30 years of designing,  I have come to the conclusion that for me, it is ALL about the design. Sometimes design is hard to see. Sometimes it’s a chaotic mess, and sometimes it only exists in my mind. But, if you are looking, it can be found anywhere -- even in an old mental hospital turned hotel (see the picture...and yes, we did stay there, much to my husband's horror).  

My passion is not only finding hidden beauty, but transforming it into something amazing --  whether on the printed page, in a room in your home, through social media or even on the front of a building. 

As a wise man once said, "It’s all about the story." And I love taking that story and figuring out how to tell it in an effective and wonderful way through design.

It has been a journey. And as most journeys go -- the joy (and some craziness) has been found on the road, not necessarily at the destination. So, pack your bags and let's go!
